The UniSA Australian HPV Super Series is staged by Australian International Pedal Prix Inc. and is a competition where teams race Human Powered Vehicles (HPV’s) on a closed controlled circuit. The 2019 Series consists of 6 Rounds, 5 staged in South Australia and 1 in Busselton WA.
In 2019 the Mt Gambier race will be an 8 hour event while the Loxton, Adelaide and Busselton Series Rounds will be 6 hour events. The 24 hour race in Murray Bridge is acknowledged as the biggest (and best!) HPV race in the world. It attracts 200 teams made up of more than 3,000 riders and spectator numbers in the thousands.
As naming rights sponsor of the Series the University of South Australia has recognised that the Series encapsulates many of their core values around education, the development of sustainable communities, healthy lifestyles, communication and teamwork, and research and innovation.
